What are highlighted articles and how can I set them up?

What are highlighted articles?

The Highlighted Articles section offers brands an opportunity to promote selected articles for their retailers. By showcasing specific items, brands can draw retailers' attention to key products, seasonal highlights, or special offers, enhancing visibility and driving interest.

Highlighted articles is a visually distinct area on every brand's all articles page in the Reorder and Preorder area that features up to 10 articles.


Articles in this section are managed through a dedicated "Highlighted Articles" catalog, allowing brands to select and manually order the items they want to feature.


Each brand has a unique "Highlighted Articles" catalog, initially empty, which appears at the top of the catalog list by default for easy access and recognition.

How to add and edit highlighted articles?

1. You can edit the Highlighted articles by:

  • Clicking on the Highlighted Articles catalog and selecting the Edit option.

  • Alternatively, clicking the Edit Highlighted Articles button located at the top banner of the Catalogs page


2. Click on + Add Articles to start adding items to the highlighted section.

3. Add up to 10 articles to the catalog. Click on any selected article to adjust its order within the list. Use the Only Show Selected Articles toggle to view only the items you’ve chosen.

4. Once your selections are complete, publish the catalog to make the highlighted articles visible for your retailers.

Adjust the order of your selected articles as needed, or add more by clicking the + Add Articles button.

Visibility of highlighted articles for your retailers

The Highlighted articles catalog follows exclusivity and in-stock rules, so some selected articles may not be visible to all retailers. Possible reasons:

Reason for not showing the article(s)

How does it work?

The article is out of stock

Article is not visible in highlights

The article is flagged with Exclusivity

Only those retailers will see the article who were guaranteed access by Exclusivity

The article has a product visibility flag on

Article visible depending on the visibility flag

The article has a product visibility flag on a size level

Article visible depending on the visibility flag

Any catalog that contains the article besides the Highlighted articles catalog is unpublished

Article is visible * (see description, in case of exclusivity). If one of the unpublished catalogs that contains the article has an exclusivity flag, the article is not visible.

The Highlighted catalog gets unpublished

Highlighted articles section is not visible for any retailer
